Organization Manager

Overview

Yggio's Organization Manager allows you to create and manage an organizational structure where IoT devices are visible upwards through the hierarchy. This facilitates the management of different user accounts assigned to handle various types or parts of IoT devices. Within this structure, members (organization-limited user accounts) are assigned to different organizational levels with specific authorization types.

• Manage: Manage the organization and member access rights from this level and below.
• Device Admin: Manage IoT devices at this level and below. Currently, this means having the right to delete IoT devices.
• Device Write: Write data to IoT devices at this level and below.
• Device Read: Read data and view IoT devices at this level and below.
• Emplace: Place a member and their IoT devices at a specific unit within the organization. A user can only be emplaced at one unit. This member's IoT devices become accessible upwards in the organization to all members with relevant device access.

Independent users are allowed to create and manage multiple organizations. However, a user created within an organization (a member) is currently not allowed to create other organizations.

Member Management

• Add Existing Members: Use the "Add Member" button to add existing members to the organization. This allows a user to be a member of multiple organizations.
• Remove Existing Members: Use the "Remove" on a specific member button to remove a existing members from the organization.
• Self-Addition for Organization Owners: The owner of the organization can add themselves as a member of their own organization.
